How to make an appointment for birth control
If you live in Dallas and are looking for access to contraceptives, Trust Her is here to help. Follow these simple steps to get same-day access to your contraception of choice.
- Identify which of our partner clinics you’d like to visit. See the below map to find the location closest to you. Some clinics are able to provide confidential services, these are noted in the clinics profiles.
- Call the clinic and ask to set up the appointment.
a. EX: “I’m looking to make a family planning appointment”
b. If you have a preferred method of contraception let them know while making the appointment. It’s okay if you don’t know, a healthcare provider will walk you through all the options. That’s what they are here for! - Whether or not you have insurance, tell them you are interested in seeing if you qualify for free birth control through Trust Her.
- Don’t forget to bring a Photo ID to your appointment (A School ID works.)
- If you have any questions about birth control, such as side effects and proper use, ask your healthcare provider. They are there to help.
- Get your contraception of choice – same day, at no cost to you.
- The Parkland clinics provide confidentiality and low-/no-cost services.
- The Trust Her clinics provide free birth control to qualifying patients.
